Is it true that Enchong Dee recently went to Digos City?
Photos of Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee surfaced on social media and it was said that he went to Digos City Hall of Justice with his lawyer.
It would be recalled that the actor is currently facing the cyber libel case filed against him by Drivers United for Mass Progress and Equal Rights (DUMPER) PartyList Representative Claudine Bautista-Lim.
This came from the “malicious” statement that Enchong did regarding the “lavish” wedding that the elected government official had on the luxurious Balesin island amid the pandemic. His statement was an accusation against the lawmaker that she used public funds for her wedding.
The court ordered Enchong Dee to pay P1 billion for damages. A warrant of arrest was served and he posted bail. Just recently, he was apparently spotted in Digos City.
In one of his recent Instagram posts, the actor shared that he was at Cardinal Santos Medical Center and he donated blood. One of the recent comments that his post received was from Instagram user @janzlapaz who wrote, “Welcome to Digos City…”
A recent Facebook Post from Gina Sarmiento Gp Arangkada, from a local news outlet in Davao del Sur, showed the photos of the actor sitting outside the Hall of Justice in Digos.
The post stated that Enchong was with his lawyer to attend the mediation regarding the cyber libel case against him. However, the post did not divulge further details about this.
As of this writing, the camp of the actor has not released yet any statement about this. The only statement, so far, that Enchong Dee had regarding this legal battle was his clarification that he was not hiding and that he was not evading arrest.
