Road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of a tragic accident in Tolosa, Leyte due to a counterflowing rider. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, the vehicles along the road were driving at a moderate speed due to the smooth flow of traffic. After a few moments, a reckless motorcycle rider who counter flowed into the opposite lane.
Unfortunately, the motorist accidentally hits a car driver who was peacefully driving in the opposite lane. The collision sent the rider pummeling on the ground, which causes damage to both car and motorcycle.
The motorist probably suffered wounds and injuries due to the incident. The incident happened last Sunday (May 29, 2022). The video has been originally posted by a netizen named Arvin Estrella.
