Husband of Teacher Who Died in Texas Tragedy Passed Away
HUSBAND OF TEACHER – Joe Garcia, the spouse of teacher Irma Garcia who died in the Texas incident, died, too, as confirmed by their family.
Countless hearts were left broken by an incident that transpired in a school in Texas. The suspect was an 18-year-old guy who had just bought his firearms a few days before the incident took place. He took the lives of 19 kids between eight to ten years of age and two (2) teachers.
The parents, teachers, and staff of Robb Elementary School in Uvaldo are in deep grief over the loss of their loved ones. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the suspect was identified as Salvador Ramos who shot his grandmother before he left their house and went to the school.
A friend of Ramos claimed that a few days before the incident took place, Ramos sent him a photo of the firearms he bought and revealed his next plans to use them against his grandmother and enter a school.
Salvador Ramos was able to enter Robb Elementary School in Uvaldo through one of the open gates at the back. A guard saw him but he shot the guard and headed to a room. He took the lives of 19 small kids and two (2) teachers who were assigned to rooms with connecting doors.
It took the police 40 minutes before they were able to enter the area and shot Ramos which resulted in his death. One of the teachers who died was identified as Irma Garcia, married and has four (4) children.
Following the incident, the husband of the teacher, Joe Garcia, also died as confirmed by their family. According to the report, the cousin of teacher Irma believes that Joe “died of a broken heart” over what happened to his wife. She was the love of his life for more than 30 years already. The nephew of Joe also stressed that his uncle died due to grief.
The couple was married for 24 years and they are survived by their four (4) children. He died from a heart attack following the tragic incident that took the life of his wife. Their family is extremely devastated over the sorrowful happenings.
