Rumor has it that actress-host Toni Gonzaga will become an executive of People’s Television Network or PTV4, the flagship state broadcaster owned by the Government of the Philippines.

Before the elections, rumors surfaced that Toni will transfer to the media company of billionaire businessman Manny Villar, the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) that acquired the frequencies previously occupied by ABS-CBN.

Veteran entertainment reporter Cristy Fermin even said that Toni Gonzaga will have two shows on AMBS. Just recently, another rumor about the actress-host surfaced.

Based on the article by entertainment columnist Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, it was rumored that Toni will be an executive of PTV4. May nagsasabi naman na baka si Toni ang ilagay sa PTV4 na isang government station. “Walang contract sa kahit anong network si Toni at nakatutok siya sa pagiging vlogger,” the columnist said. As of this writing, Toni Gonzaga has not spoken yet about this.

Previously, it was also rumored that Direk Paul will be given a position in the government under the administration of President-elect Bongbong Marcos. The director was the one who directed all the campaign videos for the new Chief Executive.

However, the director debunked the speculations that he was offered a position in the government. During the proclamation of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte as elected President and Vice President, respectively, Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano were among the showbiz personality who attended the event.
