Andrea Brillantes Posts Birthday Greetings to Boyfriend Ricci Rivero
ANDREA BRILLANTES – Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes posted a sweet Instagram tribute to her boyfriend Ricci Rivero, to mark his 24th birthday.
Last April, Kadenang Ginto star Andrea Brillantes said “yes” to University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons star player Ricci Rivero when he asked her to be his girlfriend after a game of basketball. The video of his proposal went viral on social media.
The celebrity couple grace at the 2022 Star Magic All-Star Games. The star-studded event was held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City last May 22. The actress played with the Star Magic Lady Spikers in the volleyball event.
In her recent interview with PUSH, Andrea Brillantes shared that she almost didn’t want her boyfriend to attend their game in person. She said she was hesitant because she’s not really a pro volleyball player. She said she joined the games only for the fun of it.
“Nandito lang ako for the fun of it. Andito lang ako para ma-experience kasi gusto ko lang talaga siyang ma-try. Ayoko talaga siya manuod kasi nahihiya ako pero sabi niya kasi, ‘It’s my turn naman na sumupport.’ Sabi ko sige kasi ayoko naman maging unfair na pag ako siya lang nag sinusuportahan. Masaya na nandiyan siya,” said Andrea.

Ricci Rivero turned 24-years-old on Wednesday, May 25. Andrea Brillantes took to Instagram to send her love and warm greetings to her boyfriend. She uploaded snaps of her beau with a picturesque sunset in the background.
“Happy Birthday,” Andrea penned in the caption, followed by a string of emojis of a heart, butterfly, and smiling face.
Andrea Brillantes and Ricci Rivero were first rumored to have a romantic relationship in February after they were seen at a restaurant in Taguig. The young Kapamilya star then fueled rumors of a romance with the college basketball player when she was seen on social media wearing Rivero’s jersey.
Prior to dating Rivero, the actress was in a 2-year relationship with her Kadenang Ginto co-star Seth Fedelin. Rivero, meanwhile, was previously linked to actress Sharlene San Pedro.
