Iñigo Pascual Shares Details of his Audition for Musical Drama ‘Monarch’

Actor-singer Iñigo Pascual shared the details of his audition for the Hollywood musical drama Monarch that gave him the chance to work with Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon.

Iñigo was introduced to the world of entertainment through his father A-list actor Piolo Pascual. However, over the years, Iñigo has proven that he can establish his own name in showbiz out of the shadow of his father’s success.

One of the recent success that he has was being part of a musical drama in Hollywood. Based on the article in Inquirer, Iñigo shared that initially, he has no plan of auditioning because he was already anticipating that he will not be casted.

However, his team convinced to just try it and he was assured that he will still do projects in the Philippines if the audition will not be a successful one. Eventually, the actor-singer did it.

“I did it (audition), I was two weeks late for the audition and then I was in the top four after the audition. Then we did the callbacks. After two days, sabi nila ‘In a month’s time, you’re gonna have to move to Atlanta,’Iñigo Pascual shared.

This opportunity to have his first American project gives excitement to the son of Piolo Pascual. Since he is playing a Filipino character, Iñigo said that he somehow feels proud that he is representing the Philippines.

It just feels good to be able to do that, to be able to represent the Philippines and to be able to share my music through this project as well,” the actor-singer added. When it comes to working with Susan Sarandon, Iñigo Pascual enthused, “She’s amazing.”
