Elderly Siblings in Negros Occidental Got Reunited After 30 Years of Being Apart

NEGROS OCCIDENTAL – The elderly siblings in Negros Occidental got reunited again after 30 years of being apart from each other.

The siblings Ciriaco and Encarnacion Solis became emotional as they get reunited after 30 years. The two cried and give each other a hug during their most-awaited reunion. The two meet each again with the help of social media.

The 87-year-old Lolo Ciriaco is second out of eight siblings while 73-year-old Lola Encarnacion is sixth. The video of Lola Encarnacion goes viral for living alone in a remote area in Talisay City, Negros Occidental for almost two decades.

The elderly woman’s house nearly collapse after being struck by several storms. The grandma expressed her sentiments because rainwaters enter her damaged home. Her house had no electricity and she has no one to talk to.

The group Kapusan Outreach brought Lola Encarnacion’s story to Digicast Negros to help her find her family. The netizens also donated some amount of cash to give her a surprise birthday party.

The video reached Felix G. Yusay Foundation Inc. which helped the Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, and members of Kapusan Outreach to build a house for Lola Encarnacion. The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office also posted the grandma’s photos in her new home.

Someone contacted Lola Encarnacion and told her that one of her elder siblings was still alive. The viral Lola and Lolo Ciriaco finally see each other with the help of social media.

Lolo Ciriaco and his children asked Encarnacion to live with them but the elderly lady refused to accept the offer as she prefer to live on the mountainside. He also asked the members of Kapusan Outreach to take care of his sister.
