Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial explained her viral photo with Kapuso actor Xian Lim that was taken at a hotel in Davao Oriental.
The world of social media feasted on a photo of Barbie and Xian. This garnered speculations that there was something romantic going on between them. There were even netizens who called the attention of It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu, the girlfriend of the Kapuso actor.
However, fans of Xian and Barbie defended them as they said that the two celebrities stayed in the said hotel because they attended a campaign event. Previously, Xian Lim has already addressed this issue.
The actor said that he did not intend to speak about this because it was a nonsense rumor. On the other hand, he expressed gratitude to those who defended them against malicious speculations.
Barbie Imperial has reacted to this also, based on the article in Balita. She explained why she and Xian Lim were spotted at the same hotel. The actress said that they were not alone because they had a lot of companions while they stayed there.
“It was actually the hotel where we stayed at noong nag-campaign kami nina Xian sa Mati. Marami kami. My room and Xian’s room. Nag-favor ‘yung hotel if puwede mag-photo,” the Kapamilya actress explained.
Meanwhile, prior to this, netizens have speculated that Barbie Imperial might be dating Atty. Miko Clavano of Bisaya Gyud Partylist. It is because they were spotted together in Cebu last April. Their photos together circulated online before the elections.
Netizens even noticed that in one of the photos, the hand of the lawyer was on Barbie’s shoulder. The actress has not addressed this issue, as of this writing.
