Robin Padilla shares photos with Salvador Panelo
Leading senatorial candidate Robin Padilla said that his fellow candidate Atty. Salvador Panelo will be his legislative consultant, adviser, and mentor.
Robin surprised many when his name topped the senatorial race in the 2022 elections. Although there are bashers, doubters, and mockers, the action star received overwhelming support from the public, especially from those who believe that he will do a good job as a lawmaker.
In an interview, Robin admitted that the election result also surprised him as he did not expect to be the number one senatorial candidate but he is definitely thankful for the support that he got.
In his recent Facebook post, Robin Padilla showed that he is preparing for his job as a senator. The action star shared photos with Atty. Salvador Panelo.
“Kailangan ko ng pambato sa usapin ng batas pagdating sa senado. Ang pagpapalit ng saligang batas ay hindi magiging madali sapagkat ang babanggain nito ay ang kasalukuyang naghaharing mga oligarko nakakubli sa 1987 constitution,” Robin said.
The presumptive Senator also said that even though he and Panelo did not succeed with their initial plan to be together in the Senate, this will not hinder them to continue their advocacy.
“Walang makakapigil sa rebolusyon. Si SALVADOR PANELO ang aking legislative consultant, adviser at mentor. Walang tatalo kay sal panalo panel,” Robin said.
Then, the action star said “Mabuhay” to “parliamentaryo. Federalismo, PDP laban, Pilipino, inangbayan Pilipinas.” In the comment section of his post, Robin Padilla promised the public that they will their best to do what they aim for the country. Salvador Panelo thanked the presumptive Senator for giving him the chance to continue his public service.
“Makaasa ka na ibubuhos ko ang aking sarili para tulungan kang palitan ang Saligang Batas para wakasan na ang bulok na sistema na bumibilanggo sa ating bansa,” the lawyer said to Robin Padilla.
