Man Rushed to Hospitalized After Winning “Inuman Challenge”
A 49-year-old man in Imus, Cavite gets hospitalized after drinking five glasses of various liquors during “Inuman Challenge”.
The supposed happy and entertaining drinking session in Imus, Cavite turned into a tragedy after a contestant suffered from breathing difficulty. The victim reportedly drinks different types of liquors.
The victim identified as Restie Badillo together with his family and relatives goes swimming to celebrate the birthday of his nephew. His relatives conducted a drinking session to give more fun during the celebration.
Badillo joined the ‘Inuman Challenge” wherein the winner will receive P2, 500. The participants need to consume two glasses of gin, a glass of brandy, and two glasses of beer. The victim admitted that he is a “Tomador”.
The latter was able to drink all the liquors and win the cash. Out of happiness, Restie even dance and bragged about his cash reward. After 10 minutes, the guy suffered from dizziness and start vomiting.
Restie was rushed to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment and medication. He was confined at the Intensive Care Unit after his vital signs deplete. The victim became comatose due to alcohol intoxication or alcohol poisoning.
Dr. Marc Dexter Macalintal explained that an excessive amount of alcohol in the body can lead to death. Victims could suffer a stroke and other health complications.
A day after the incident, the patient woke up and currently recuperating at the hospital. The family spent over P200, 000 for his treatment.
