Angel Locsin shared her feeling after the May 9 elections
Kapamilya Angel Locsin admitted that she is saddened by the result of the 2022 elections but she is not dwelling on this emotion.
Angel is one of the avid celebrity supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and her running mate Senator Kiko Pangilinan. She enthusiastically joined the Kakampink campaign rallies in different cities.
After the elections on Monday, Angel shared an inspiring message for her fellow Kakampinks. She expressed that she is proud of fighting for what she believes and that she will stay strong. Angel Locsin also encouraged her fellow supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem to continue to be strong because they fought for the country.
Many Kakampinks expressed sadness over the election result as VP Leni’s number of votes is way beyond the votes that UniTeam’s presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos got.
Based on the article in PEP, a Kakampink netizen asked Angel if she also cried like them. Although the netizen did not mention what this is all about, it was easy to conclude that the Kakampink was talking about the election result.
“Malungkot but taas noo [smiling face moji]. Ituloy natin ang nabuong malasakit sa bayan at sa kapwa [smiling face with waving hands emoji] proud to have fought alongside you [hearts emojis],” the Kapamilya actress responded.
The said Kakampink netizen once again replied and said that it was difficult to focus on work, and it was hard to smile and accept. This included a broken heart emoji.
Once again, Angel Locsin replied with an inspiring message for her fellow Kakampink. “Naiintindihan ko. Pero kailangan bumangon kundi mapupunta lang ang lahat ng mga sacrifices and efforts natin sa wala di ba? Pag ready ka na,” the actress said.
