Who are the Top 10 spenders of Halalan 2022 when it comes to political ads?

HALALAN 2022 – These are the candidates who have spent millions and billions on their political ads in this year’s polls.

With less than two days being away from the election day, the spending of some of the candidates on advertisements was revealed. The details are from Nielsen Ad Intel and the data does not include the fees for celebrities and talents. Also excluded are their spending on social media and their campaigns around the country.

Here are the top 10 spenders from January 1, 2021, to March 30, 202, for both solo and shared ads:

Vice presidential candidates such as Senate President Vicente Sotto III spent roughly Php 600 million, the biggest among the vice-presidential aspirants. Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte spent more than Php 500 million and Senator Francis Pangilinan spent over Php 400 million.
