Kapuso Stars Show Support for Leni-Kiko in May 2022 Elections
KAPUSO STARS – Several artists under the GMA-7 network joined the Leni-Kiko grand campaign rally held in different areas.
Both local and national elections are set to take place three days from now. Undeniably, the May 2022 Elections really mark the history of the Philippines as many individuals really took active participation by attending campaign rallies, voicing out their support, endorsing their bets, and even spending their own money to help in campaigning for certain candidates.
In some cases, they offered their services for free. They joined the campaign rallies and performed for free as an expression of support for their bets. Among them are several Kapuso artists who joined the Leni-Kiko grand campaign rally in different areas.
Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is running for president in the upcoming May 2022 Elections. She is an independent candidate who tapped Liberal Party’s vice-presidential bet, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, as her running-mate.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, among the Kapuso stars who joined the Leni-Kiko grand campaign rally are Kris Bernal, Bea Binene, and Christian Bautista. Bernal joined the grand rally held in Zamboanga del Norte while Bautista performed in Cavite. In Nueva Ecija, Binene spoke endorsing the Vice President.
Several other Kapuso stars including Pokwang, Kokoy de Santos, Carla Abellana, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, and Rochelle Pangilinan have also expressed their support for Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
Aside from the Kapuso stars, several religious groups, educational institutions, Kapamilya celebrities, politicians, and private individuals are also vocal about their support for the Leni-Kiko tandem. Many actors and actresses even did a house-to-house campaign for the tandem while a lot of volunteers help in the grand rallies and other campaign events.
Kapamilya stars Vice Ganda, Angel Locsin, Daniel Padilla, and Jodi Sta. Maria are among the celebrities who also support the presidential bid of the Vice President.
