Sharon Cuneta had a radio interview for the Leni-Kiko tandem
Megastar Sharon Cuneta admitted that the 2022 elections will the “toughest” because of different reasons surrounding the election season.
Sharon’s husband, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, is running for vice president, the running mate of Vice President Leni Robredo. It is known to many that Senate President Tito Sotto, the husband of Sharon’s aunt, Helen Gamboa, is also running for vice president.
Previously, the Megastar shared her thoughts on this. She admitted that it breaks her heart to see that two of the closest men in her heart are vying for the same position. Sharon Cuneta’s cousin, actress Ciara Sotto aired her disappointment over this matter.
In a recent radio interview in Zamboanga, based on the article in Balita, the Megastar admitted that this election season is indeed the “toughest” for her. Aside from the fact her husband and her “uncle” are running for the same position, she also mentioned in her speech in a Laguna sortie that she shared “friendship” with former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, the UniTeam candidates.
She also mentioned that she had a “tampo” to President Rodrigo Duterte who she considers a “tatay”. It is because she does not agree with some of the decisions that the Chief Executive made.
Meanwhile, during the same radio guesting in Zamboanga, Sharon Cuneta once again sang her hit song Mr. DJ which became an iconic song for her career in the entertainment industry.
“Mr. DJ can I make a request? Thank you, 96.3 iFM Zamboanga for guesting me last night! Muchisimas gracias sa inyong lahat for listening in and watching our live feed as well! I love you, Zamboanga City,” the Megastar wrote in the caption of her post on Instagram.
