Isko Moreno on Pulse Asia April Survey: “4 Percent? Talaga?”

Here’s how Isko Moreno reacted to the recent Pulse Asia survey

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has a chill answer when asked about the recently released Pulse Asia survey result that was conducted from April 16 to 21.

In the said survey, former Senator Bongbong Marcos, the presidential candidate of the UniTeam is still leading with 56 percent and was followed by Vice President Leni Robredo with 23 percent.

In the last March 2022 survey, Moreno got 8 percent which put him in the number three spot. However, in the recent survey, he only got 4 percent while Senator Manny Pacquiao got 7 percent.

In an interview, posted on ABS-CBN’s Twitter account, Mayor Isko Moreno was asked to react to this. He said that people are entitled to their own opinion. However, he stressed that there are two things to be considered – if the survey is true or not.

Four percent? Talaga? Good luck to me. (Laughs) Basta ako naniniwala, una may Diyos,” the Manila Mayor said and congratulated Bongbong Marcos for topping the survey. He said that he is happy for them and pitied others but for him, life must go on.

Then, once again, he reminded the voting population that he is the “alternative” if the people want “peace of mind.” “Ipaalala sa taumbayan ang aking munting alay: Tuldukan na natin ang away ng pula at dilaw. Ang inaalay ko peace of mind,” the presidential candidate of Aksyon Demokratiko said.

The survey was conducted when the controversial Easter Sunday press conference happened wherein Mayor Isko Moreno called for the withdrawal of VP Leni Robredo. However, the Mayor said that he is not regretting whatever he said during the press conference.
