The police authorities arrested the suspect in a multi-million investment scam, which is related to cryptocurrency.

The police authorities launched an entrapment operation to arrest a 40-year-old man named Anthony Bersaluna over a multi-million investment scam related to cryptocurrency. The operation has been launched after cops received reports from complainants.

According to CIDG-NCR South Investigation Chief Police Inspection Glenn Umali, Bersaluna is offering a 20 percent profit to his victims. He will collect money from investors, which will be used as an investment in cryptocurrency.

During the first month, Bersaluna was able to pay the 20 percent profit of the investors. The suspect failed to return the investment after the number of his victims increased. The victims immediately reported it to the authorities.

The authorities launched the entrapment operation against the Bersaluna and its secretary after 30 victims filed complaints. The cops were also encouraging other victims to go to the police station and file charges against the suspect.

However, the scammer explained that the cash was just stuck in Europe and he will return it to the investors once it was released.
