What was the reaction of Sharon Cuneta when Vice Ganda did not mention the name of Kiko Pangilinan?
A Kakampink claimed that this was the reaction of Megastar Sharon Cuneta when the crowd was shouting “Isama si Kiko” during the speech of It’s Showtime host endorsing Vice President Leni Robredo.
As Senator Kiko Pangilinan, the husband of Sharon is the running mate of VP Leni, Kakampinks expected that Vice would also endorse the lawmaker. However, after the speech of Vice during the rally on April 23, he did not mention that he is also endorsing the vice-presidential candidacy of Sen. Kiko.
Kakampinks said that they were already shouting to Vice “Isama si Kiko” but the comedian-host apparently did not hear what they were shouting and some supporters of the Leni-Kiko tandem speculated that he is endorsing another candidate.
In an article by entertainment columnist Rey Pumaloy in Abante, he said that some Kakampinks shared the reaction of Sharon Cuneta when her fellow Kapamilya star did not mention her husband.
Twitter user @shidoni (Syd Alcala) talked about the said incident in his April 23 tweet. He confirmed that there were indeed Kakampinks who shouted “Isama si Kiko” around the stage after the speech of the Unkabogable Star. Then he said, “Kami yon!”
The Kakampink netizen thanked the comedian-host for endorsing VP Leni but stressed that it was also needed that he will endorse Sen. Kiko. Then, he shared that at that time, Sharon Cuneta was seated near them. “She looked over, her face emotional & said thank you to us,” the supporter of the Leni-Kiko tandem said.
In the comment section, another Kakampink said that the “Isama si Kiko” chant started even during Vice Ganda’s speech.
