Iya Villania shared something about Judy Ann Santos
Kapuso host Iya Villania revealed that at first, she felt intimidated by prominent drama actress Judy Ann Santos.
Juday started her career in showbiz at a young age and through her acting prowess, it was easy for her to establish her name as one of the best drama actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry.
It is definitely an honor for many younger actresses or showbiz newbies to have a chance to share the same frame with her. However, with Juday’s star status, it is inevitable for younger actresses to feel intimidated by her.
In a recent episode of Mars Pa More, Iya Villania revealed that she is one of those who was overwhelmed by the showbiz status of Judy Ann Santos. “Noong una, na-intimidate ako kay Judy Ann Santos, kay Juday. Kasi naman si Juday siya ‘di ba?” the wife of Drew Arellano said.
However, Iya said that the reality surprised her because she found out that Juday is a happy person to be with. “Hindi ko inasahan talaga na magkakaroon pa kami ng isang thread sa Whatsapp, kung saan kami puwede mag-chikahan, mag-tawanan, magpapadala pa ‘yan ng pagkain, mag-i-invite pa siya sa bahay niya. Nag-invite na nga, siya pa nasa kusina para magluto,” the Kapuso host said.
She also said that she never imagined that she will have the kind of friendship that she has now with Juday.
In the same episode of the Kapuso talk show, Iya’s co-host Kuya Kim Atienza also shared his experience. He said that he felt intimidated by veteran broadcaster Mike Enriquez. The former Kapamilya host said that he was surprised the award-winning journalist is very humble and he is not intimidating at all.
