Toni Gonzaga “Tahanan” Remark Slammed By Mocha Uson

Mocha Uson slammed Toni Gonzaga when she said that Malacanang is BBM’s home.

TONI GONZAGA – Mothers for Change Partylist first nominee Mocha Uson slams Toni Gonzaga because of her viral remark.

In a previous article, controversial star Toni Gonzaga made a striking statement during the UniTeam rally in Cebu City on Monday that caught the attention of critics. Her exact statement was:

“Konting konting panahon nalang, babalik na si BBM sa kanyang tahanan: Ang Malacañang. Kasama niya ang sambayanang Pilipino na naniniwala sa kaniya.”

And many people did not like it. Many people were in disbelief as to how would she say that such a government property is home to the family of a late dictator. Malacanang serves as the official residence and principal workplace of the president – not home – and the Malacanang belongs to the Filipino people. Among those who did not agree with this is Mocha Uson.

In a video, Mocha slammed Toni’s remark which accordingly indicated that she really did not know anything about public service. She said, “Si Pangulong Duterte nga po, ay sinasabi niya na ang Malakanyang ay kanya lamang opisina at hindi po niya ito tahanan. Ito ay pag-aari ng taumbayan.”

Uson also connected the history of the dictatorial leadership of BBM’s father. For Uson, her remark gave a hint of dictatorship for owning something that is not rightfully such as the Palace.

Toni, ever since she expressed her full support to the presidential bid of BBM, has received intense bashing and criticisms. Her values were questioned. Her morals were doubted. And her faith and being a Christian were also put into question because she is supporting someone people tagged as the “dictator’s son”.
