Sharon Cuneta was asked about the videos of Direk Darryl Yap
Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared her reaction to the Len-len videos that her friend director Darryl Yap has been creating.
The said political satire videos that Darryl and the Vincentiments team have been creating are showing support for the presidential candidacy of former Senator Bongbong Marcos while going against the other camp.
In a recent interview for the promotion of her upcoming Iconic concert with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez, Sharon Cuneta was asked to react to the political satire videos of Darryl Yap, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“Matalino si Direk Darryl so baka ang puso niya ay iba ang kulay. Pero like I said, let’s not judge na lang people. Hayaan na lang sa choices nila,” the Megastar said.
The actress-singer also admitted that she was hurt when the director started creating videos against her presidential candidate, Vice President Leni Robredo. On the other hand, Sharon said that she still considers Darryl a friend.
“Siyempre hindi ko maalis na nasasaktan ako kasi kandidato ko ‘yon di ba, si Maam (Leni) kilala ko? That’s really up to him. He’s still my friend. I respect him and ready to (do another) movie with him,” she said.
Sharon Cuneta and Darryl Yap worked together in the movie Revirginized which was released in 2021. This movie showed a different side of the Megastar that surprised many of her longtime fans.
Meanwhile, in a previous statement through his Facebook post, Darryl said that he deleted all the negative comments on his page against Senator Kiko Pangilinan who is running for vice president. He said that it is because he values the friendship that he has with Sharon.
