Intense Video of Fearless Resident Chasing and Fighting Army Personnel Involved in Holdup Incident Earns Reactions Online
A fearless resident chased and fought an army personnel involved in a holdup incident outside the public market in Sultan Kudarat.
The intense commotion between a male resident and a soldier involved in a holdup incident has been caught on camera. The confrontation happened outside the public market in Lambayon, Sultan Kudarat.
In the video, the guy in green shirt is fighting the army personnel wearing a white sando. At first, the civilian seems to control the situation but the suspect fought back. The culprit immediately ran away to escape.
The male resident and a witness fearlessly chased the suspect to prevent him from escaping. Eventually, the two civilians and the police authorities were able to corner and arrest the hold upper.
According to the authorities, the soldier reportedly declared a holdup at a store in the market. The culprit even pointed his gun to the store owner and stole its bag containing P49, 000.
However, the concerned citizen in green shirt apprehended him and prevent him to escape. The two wrestled until the army personnel handed his firearm to his colleague who successfully escaped. The suspect is currently under the custody of Lambayong PNP.
The culprit is facing several complaints and multiple charges. The suspect’s identity will remain hidden until Philippine Army will release an official statement regarding the incident.
Meanwhile, the cops recovered the stolen cash and returned it to the store owner.
