Here’s what Ai-Ai delas Alas said about the Audie Gemora’s post against her
Singer Audie Gemora, a known Kakampink, shared a post saying that comedienne Pokwang is “funnier and more intelligent” than Comedy Concert Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Pokwang is also known as one of the celebrity supporters of the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo. On the other hand, Ai-Ai has vocally expressed her support for the UniTeam of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.
Last April 8, Audie retweeted an art card featuring the statement of Pokwang regarding those netizens who are threatening to unfollow her because she is a Kakampink.
In the caption of his Twitter post, Audie said, “I always thought Pokwang funnier, more intelligent than Ai2.” Based on the article in PEP, several netizens sent this post of the singer to Ai-Ai delas Alas but she did not react because first, she does not know Audie, and second, she is not affected by what he said.
However, during a recent interview for her new afternoon drama Raising Mamay, she was asked again to react to this. Ai-Ai revealed that she really thought hard about her answer with all sincerity.
She wanted to make sure that her answer would not sound like she was just pretending to be smart and prudent. The Comedy Concert Queen said that she wants to give a “bukal sa puso” answer.
“Kasi napaka-blessed na blessed na ako, e. Una, may trabaho ako. May Raising Mamay ako. Wala akong sakit. Hindi ako nagkaroon ng COVID. Ang mga anak ko, walang sakit. May asawa akong mapagmahal. Kumbaga, napakarami kong blessings, and I hope, siya [Audie] rin,”she said.
Then, she said that she wish Audie well and that he will have more blessings so that he could see the beauty in every person. “Ginawa tayo ni God in our own unique ways so in God’s eyes, iba-iba tayo. Pati nga fingerprints natin iba-iba tayo. So, I think, let’s all speak and claim blessings instead,” she added.
Ai-Ai delas Alas also reminded everyone that after the election, the fact will still remain that friends are still friends, and relatives will still be relatives. This is the reason why she said that everyone should be careful of what they say because it might hurt the other person. “So, dapat careful, kasi sandali lang ito. Isang araw lang ito and babalik ulit tayo sa dati kapag may nanalo na,” the comedienne stressed.
