Joaquin is also very supportive of his father’s fight for the presidency. Just recently, the young actor shared his photo that was taken during one of the campaign events of his father. He was wearing a blue jacket with the name of Isko Moreno and his running mate Willie Ong.

Joaquin simply captioned his post with three hashtags: “Withdraw Leni,” “Unite For Isko,” and “Switch To Isko.” This was uploaded on Instagram while the press conference of Moreno, along with other presidential candidates Senator Ping Lacson and former Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales was being held, based on the article in PEP.

Vice presidential candidate Willie Ong was also present, as well as Lacson’s running mate Senate President Tito Sotto. Although Senator Manny Pacquiao was absent, he was one of the signatories of the joint statement that Isko Moreno read during the said event on April 17, 2022 that was held at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City.

During the event, the Manila Mayor challenged Vice President Leni Robredo to withdraw from the presidential race. He said that they were those who are calling for the supreme sacrifice and for him, someone who is not a good player should do the supreme sacrifice, and it is to withdraw.

“The same challenge that they’re giving us, to Senator Ping, to Secretary Norberto Gonzales, to Senator Pacquiao, now we’re calling, ‘Be a hero, withdraw Leni,” the presidential candidate of Aksyong Demokratiko said.
