Robin Padilla talked about what he learned from prison

Action star Robin Padilla, who is running for Senator, reacted to criticisms being thrown at him because of his past imprisonment due to illegal possession of firearms.

This happened during the time when Robin’s career was in its prime. He had to stop doing projects because he was imprisoned. Sharing his story on Toni Gonzaga’s Toni Talks, Robin said that what happened to him made him realize a lot of things in life.

If he will elected senator, Robin Padilla said that he will focus on doing programs for Bilibid because he saw the situation there and this includes a rehabilitation center inside.

The action star is proud to say that he was able to get his liberty because of the good attitude that he has shown.

Kaya hindi ako lumuhod kahit kanino. Lumaya ako dahil hindi ako nagpaospital, hindi ako nagdrama. Lumaya ako dahil I served my sentence at nagpakabuti ako sa loob, tumulong ako sa gobyerno, nakalaya ako,” Robin said.

When he was still serving his sentence, Robin wrote to then Senators Gringo Honasan and Ramon Revilla Sr. Regarding his case.

Then, Toni Gonzaga asked Robin Padilla to the critics of his past imprisonment as an attack against his senatorial candidacy. The action star gave a witty answer to this.

Mas maganda naman siguro ang record ko?” he said in jest.

Robin also stressed that the important thing is that he served his sentence and he did not flee from what he should do.

What can you say about this?
