Rabiya Mateo said something about Sanya Lopez
Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo said that she sees beauty queen potential in Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez.
Before she became an actress, Sanya already has a background in beauty pageant. There were several instances that former beauty queens have expressed support for her if ever she would decide to join any national pageant.
Her fans have been anticipating the start of her pageant journey as well. Sanya has received support from Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina and Miss Eco International 2018 Cynthia Thomalla, her co-stars in First Lady series, for her future pageant stint, based on the article in GMA Entertainment.
Previously, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach even shared a video message for Sanya Lopez about joining beauty pageant. Pia encouraged the Kapuso actress and said that they are willing to give her a helping hand.
“Whenever you’re ready we’re here waiting for you. Kung gusto mo mag-train, kung gusto mo sumali, alam mo na kung sinong lalapitan mo,” the third Pinay Miss Universe said.
Another Miss Universe Philippines winner shared her positive words for Sanya. Rabiya Mateo also said that the First Lady actress can be successful as well in the world of pageantry.
“Sanya Lopez. I met her, she’s very beautiful, and I heard she also has experience sa pageantry before she became an actress. Probably in the near future. She’s still young [and] she can also be.. who knows, the next Miss Universe Philippines and represent our country,” Rabiya said.
Meanwhile, the Ilongga beauty caught the attention of the online community just recently because of her video that went viral. This made netizens think that she supports Bongbong Marcos because of saying “Bong”, as Bong Revilla is her leading man in Agimat Ng Agila, she said “Bongbong” instead.
