12-Wheeler Truck Gets Into Road Accident & Rammed Elderly Vendor
An elderly vendor selling his products beside the street passed away after he was struck by twelve-wheeler truck.
Road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
Drivers and motorcycle riders were advised to observe precautionary measures while driving along the road. However, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists in the country.
The Facebook page “Barkada Mo TV” has shared the photos of a trailer truck that got into a road accident and killed a poor elderly vendor. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to the post, a 69-year-old vendor was just selling his products in his humble stall beside the road. The old man was just trying to make a livelihood to earn money and buy food.
Unfortunately, a twelve-wheeler truck tried to pass in a narrow road and rammed the vendor’s stall. The old man passed away due to the tragic accident happened in Calamba City.
The truck’s wheel also fell into the drainage system and the rescuers struggled to remove the grandpa’s remains from the store. The 33-year-old driver has been identified as Ronel Salenga.

“Halos maputol ang katawan ng 69-anyos na lolo na nagtitinda lang sa gilid ng kalsada matapos itong masalpok ng paparating na trailer truck. Ayon sa reprt, nagtitinda umano ang lolo sa kanyang maliit na pwesto sa tabi ng kalsada para makabili ng kanyang pagkain.
6AM ng umaga nasa loob ng kanyang tindahan ang biktima na nasa gilid na gilid ng makitid na ginagawang kalye nang sapilitang dumaan ang twelve-wheeler truck na minamaneho ni Ronel Salenga, 33 anyos.
Nahulog ang gulong ng truck sa kanal at dahil sa bigat ng karga ay tuluyang itong natumba at bumagsak sa tindahan ng biktima. Pinagtulung-tulungang hugutin ng mga rescuer sa nawasak na tindahan pati ang biktimang naipit. Nangyari ito sa Calamba City.”
