Nadine Lustre opened up about moments when she became “greedy”
Actress Nadine Lustre shared that she also had her “Greed” moments in the past when it comes to money matters.
Nadine is the lead actress in the movie Greed which also features Diego Loyzaga. The movie is about a couple whose lives were changed when they won the lottery. When it comes to money, the actress admitted that she was a bit greedy before.
Based on the article in Bandera, Nadine said that back then, she did not think about the value of money for her future. “Minsan, nagagastos ko, especially sa maliliit na material things like eating out, buying mga items like bags, designer stuff. I guess, in a way, understandable din naman. Not necessarily because of my line of work but also because, hindi pa rin ako marunong mag-save nu’ng time na yon,” she said.
Nadine Lustre is the breadwinner of her family. When her talent fees from her gigs and projects in the past come, the money immediately will be spent for the whole family and for the school expenses of her sibling.
However, when she was earning big due to various TV, movie, and endorsement projects, Nadine admitted that her money was not spent wisely. “So when I started earning more because of the movies, teleseryes, endorsements, parang may time na naging greedy ako when it comes to spending on myself,” she admitted.
She said that it was because she did not experience buying those luxury items before but when she became more mature, she learned that it should not be like that. Nadine Lustre pointed out the importance of saving money for the future as she becomes more aware of her finances.
