Angelica Panganiban initially intended to keep her pregnancy secret from her friends
Kapamilya actress Angelica Panganiban shared the story of how her fellow actress Angel Locsin immediately knew that she is pregnant.
Angelica had a reunion with her longtime showbiz friends Angel, Dimples Romana, Anne Curtis, and Bea Alonzo. Their photos went viral online. In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, Angelica shared that she thought she could keep her pregnancy secret from her friends.
It was previously revealed that Dimples is pregnant as well. During their get-together, it was Angel who easily guessed that Angelica is pregnant. When she was offered an alcoholic drink, Angelica Panganiban refused to take it and was thinking already about her practiced alibi.
However, Angel was quick to guess it. “Pina-practice ko na na ang sasabihin ko ay naka-antibiotics ako. Si Angel ‘yung unang nakahalata. Sabi niya talaga, ‘bakit hindi ka iinom? Kahit naka-antibiotics ka iinom ka! Buntis ka ba?’” Angelica shared.
Previously, the soon-to-be mom shared how she found out that she was pregnant. She said that it was during her supposed lock-in taping for the sitcom My Papa Pi with Piolo Pascual. The actress said that she is thankful that the management allowed her to focus on this new journey in her life.
The management is so supportive of Angelica. “Ever since naman, alam ng management na we’ve been trying talaga to get pregnant. Dahil nga nabuntis kami kaagad, siyempre sa management parang, ‘oh no, paano ‘to, anong gagawin namin?’ I’m sure nag-panic sila,” she shared.
However, Angelica Panganiban said that the management is so understanding and she is very much thankful. “Talagang walang pagpilit na mag-stay pa ako… Open arms nilang tinanggap ‘yung good news,” she added.
Meanwhile, the actress said that despite having difficulties in dealing with her situation during the first stage of her pregnancy, she said that she is enjoying this.
