Marjorie Barretto Campaigns for Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s Presidential Bid
MARJORIE BARRETTO – The former actress did a house-to-house campaign for Vice President Leni Robredo with some volunteers.
It is more than a month now since the campaign period for the national election started. Currently, the candidates are on a double-time in the pursuit to reach as many Filipinos as they can before the campaign period is over. Grand campaign rallies gathered thousands of supporters.
Among the campaign sorties that took social media attention after they gathered thousands of people are the grand rallies of the Leni-Kiko tandem. Several cities and provinces including Cavite, Pasig, Bacolod, and Iloilo turned pink during the visit of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
Vice Pres. Robredo and Sen. Pangilinan take the chance to speak about their platforms to the people during campaign rallies. Overwhelming support has welcomed the tandem during their visit to several areas to campaign.
So far the Leni-Kiko grand campaign rally that gathered the most number of people was the one held in Pasig City. Several celebrities joined the said campaign sorties with some offering performances for free while others simply joined the attendees.
Former actress Marjorie Barretto and her family are among those who joined the grand rally of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, and their senate slate in Pasig City. Her second daughter, actress Julia Barretto, was one of the hosts during the event.
According to Marjorie Barretto, after the Pasig rally where she felt a different energy that encouraged her to do more, she decided to do a house-to-house campaign for Vice Pres. Leni Robredo together with some volunteers. The former actress stressed that she had fun on her personal interactions with the people as she really got the chance to explain why VP Leni is the “most qualified” and the “right candidate” for president.
On Instagram, Marjorie shared some of the photos taken during their house-to-house campaign for Vice Pres. Robredo. She expressed her hope that more supporters of the Vice President will join or do their own house-to-house campaign or market runs for her.
