VIEN ILIGAN WEDDING GOWN – YouTube stars Marlon “Junnieboy” Velasquez and Vien Iligan are now married and here are some details about the gown.
In a previous article, social media influencers Marlon “Junnieboy” Velasquez and Vien Iligan got engaged last July 2020. Because of some significant circumstances, their wedding has to be moved and they also have to adjust for Junnie’s sister to marry her long-time partner first. Their wedding got postponed this year but last March 28, it has finally happened.
Junnie Boy is the brother of Cong Velasquez or Cong TV, the leader of their group. They decided to tie the knot at Divine Mercy Parish in Silang, Cavite, a non-negotiable factor of their big day because this specific church holds a special value in their lives.
Their 3-year-old son Mavi also played an important part in their wedding. Looking a lot like the mini-me of his father, the baby boy wore a creation by Ryan A. Uson of Rau Atelier Weddings. And the bride herself was glowing in her sultry yet sweet wedding gown.
She wore a gown designed by Mark Eleazar Lechadores of Mark’s Bride Manila and walked her way to her now-husband with the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love” in the background. Her gown has a sweetheart neckline, floral applique, crystal embellishments, and a long tulle train that made it all dreamy but also elegant. The thin straps just matched the whole look of her outfit.
The designer revealed that the bride requested for her gown to be comfortable and sultry at the same time. In an interview with ViyLine.net, the 25-year-old social media influencer expressed her feeling after seeing her gown for the first time.
She said, “Masaya, talagang ikakasal na! Ganun pala yung feeling. Kailangan makita ka na mapapangasawa mo na, ‘Ay ang ganda nya sa puting gown.’ Siguro maiiyak talaga ito!”
Paul Unating did her makeup while Dominic Mangat did her hair and tied it to a low-bun. Her hairstyle and makeup matched the whole aesthetic of her look and her low bun highlighted her long neck and slim figure.
