Teleserye queen Judy Ann Santos is one of the lucky actresses who experienced the slap of Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.
With her years of experience in the entertainment industry, Juday has already did several intense scenes on TV and on the big screen. During a recent vlog of actress Meryll Soriano, they talked about the tension that might happen between actors after doing an intense scene.
Based on the article in Inquirer, Judy Ann said that she is saddened by the fight that arises between co-stars as their characters have to fight in certain scenes. She said that this is part of their job.
Then, she recalled the time she did an intense scene with the Diamond Star, Merryl’s aunt. “Si ate Maricel napakalakas sumampal, ikot ang ulo mo do’n. Naalala ko sinampal ako ni ate Maricel sa ‘Maricel Drama Special,’ ‘yung headband ko napunta sa likod. ‘Yung ribbon ko sa gilid napunta sa noo,” Judy Ann Santos shared.
At that time, she just thought to just hang on and that it will be over soon. For Meryll, doing scenes with Maricel would make her “sugatan” and she would always get bruises after doing intense scenes with her aunt.
This was still the result even though the Diamond Star would intend to consider that Meryll is her neice.
