Chet Cuneta, the brother of Sharon Cuneta appeared to be supporting Senate President Tito Sotto and not Senator Kiko Pangilinan.
Tito Sen declared first that he will be running for vice president even before Sen. Kiko was chosen by Vice President Leni Robredo to be her running mate. When it was confirmed that the husband of Sharon will be running for the second-highest position in the government, Tito Sen’s daughter Ciara Sotto aired her dismay.
It is because Sharon is very close to the Sotto family. Tito Sen’s wife veteran actress Helen Gamboa is the aunt of the Megastar who considers her as her own daughter as well.
In line with these political differences, Sharon Cuneta also said that she is heartbroken because two of the closest men to her heart are vying for the same position. The actress-singer has since actively participated in campaign events for the Leni-Kiko tandem.
However, it appeared that the brother of Sharon has a different political view, different what she believes. In one of the recent Instagram posts of Senator Tito Sotto, he shared a photo with Chet Cuneta.
The two men were gesturing fist bump, the gesture of Tito Sotto’s tandem with Senator Ping Lacson. “Hail Ceasar! Chet Cuneta in the house!” the Senate President wrote in the caption of his post.
Does this mean that the brother of Sharon Cuneta is supporting Senator Tito Sotto and not Senator Kiko Pangilinan?
Meanwhile, a former publicist of the Megastar revealed just recently that it was the late President Ferdinand Marcos who volunteered to be the “ninong” of Sharon’s wedding with her former husband Gabby Concepcion. However, Sharon is now on the other political side years after that.
