Male Teenager Suffers Wound & Injuries After Shot by Security for Collecting Junks From Subdivision
A male teenager collecting junks in Bacolod City suffered wounds and injuries after he was shot by a security guard.
Security guards are employees hired by various business establishments or agencies to secure properties, wealth and individuals. They are usually tasked to implement peace and order under their area of jurisdiction.
Guards are instructed to perform their job properly and observe maximum tolerance at all times. They are also authorized to use their firearms to protect the area in charge to them.
A 16-year-old minor in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City suffered wounds and injuries on his head, back, neck and arm after he was shot by a security guard guarding the subdivision in the area.
The security guard identified as Mark Gil Capanas explained that he caught the young suspect stealing metal scraps inside the subdivision. He also said that he has evidence that the latter took some metal scraps.
“Talagang sakit sa ilo sila, Sir. May ebidensya naman ako, Sir na nagnakaw talaga sila kasi nasa loob ng area. nagnakaw talaga kasi pasan-pasan niya ang sako na may lamang scrap,” Capanas said.

The victim denied the accusations and explained that he and his friends were just shooting wild birds, which they could cook for meal. However, the authorities recovered a few sacks of metal junks.
The teenager said that he had no plan to steal something from the subdivision although the guard recovered sacks of scraps from him. The guy’s mother has also agree to settle the matter.
