KRIS AQUINO – Former actress Kris Aquino attended the rally of Leni-Kiko tandem campaign rally in Tarlac despite her vulnerable condition.

Before going to Tarlac, dubbed as the “Aquino Country” in the Philippines, the tandem of Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan graced Nueva Ecija first. Just like their previous rallies, their grand rally in Nueva Ecija was attended by a huge crowd. And on to the next leg of their campaign is Tarlac.

Tarlac is a known territory of the Aquinos. Way back in 2016, when she ran for the vice presidency, she managed to win in this area only of Central Luzon. And making an appearance in their grand rally today is no less than Kris Aquino, the youngest of the family.

Thin and clearly weak, Kris was able to pull off her appearance to show her support for her chosen president. Ever since Robredo decided to run, Kris has become open in giving her full support for her. And as of 7 pm on March 23, 40,000 Kakampinks of Tarlac attended the grand rally.

She spoke before the crowd along with her two sons on stage and shared that her other siblings, her older sisters, were also present. She said,“Ang umapak dito sa Tarlac ay worth the risk.”

In her speech, she revealed that she actually discovered a letter that her late brother PNoy has written for Leni. According to her, the letter stated:

‘Sa’yo ko nakikita ang pananaw, iisang ang vision…In other words sinabi ni Noy na sa’yo ko nakikita ang sincerity at ang ability na unahin ang iba bago ang sarili.’

Meanwhile, in her talk, she couldn’t help but take a swipe at a certain local politician. She did not mention the name of who she was referring to but she could guess that people would be able to get who she’s talking about. She was told not to start an “away” but she admitted that she can’t do it as she is not the “mabait na Aquino”.
