Maine Mendoza shared talked about her showbiz career
Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza shared how it feels like getting out of the “love team” phase that most actresses like her had to go through.
In the Philippine entertainment industry, it has been part of many young actresses to have their love team partners. Some tandems last for years while some just became an experimental factor in their careers.
There were also times that the onscreen partnership because a real thing behind the camera. Maine Mendoza also went through this stage in her career. Her onscreen tandem with Pambansang Bae Alden Richards was indeed a huge hit. Together, they were known as the AlDub tandem in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye.
Despite the professional separation, Maine and Alden proved that they can be successful on their own. After AlDub, they were blessed with so many projects and endorsements.
Graduating from that phase in her career, Maine said that she is more relaxed now, based on the article in The Philippine Star. She shared that she is not feeling pressured anymore to conform to the demands of fans.
“I feel super relaxed na ngayon. Wala na yung pressure sa’kin like before na I need to do this for the supporters,” the Eat Bulaga host said. Maine also said that people who are supporting her right now are those who want to support what she loves to do and also support the people she loves.
Aside from her regular hosting stint in Eat Bulaga and her taping for Daddy’s Gurl, Maine Mendoza is also busy doing her Maine Goals show, her project with Cignal TV that is already on its second season.
Maine also promised her fans that when her schedule is not that hectic anymore and the restrictions due to the pandemic are not so tight, she would love to spend time with them.
