Janno Gibbs for president?
Comedian-singer Janno Gibbs shared a political satire video on his YouTube channel and this features veteran comedian Leo Martinez.
Janno and Leo worked together in the sitcom Ober Da Bakod that aired from 1992 to 1997. Indeed, their onscreen chemistry in doing comedy skits is remarkable. They had provided laughter and entertainment to their fans for so many years.
Just recently, it appeared that their onscreen tandem is back. This time, Janno and Leo are featuring a political satire. In Janno’s YouTube channel, a video with the title BTS: PRESIDENT GIBBS HEADQUARTERS was shared on March 17.
The beginning part of the political satire showed that the character of Leo Martinez, Congressman Manik Manaog, the adviser, was watching a video on his cellphone that was apparently a clip from Vincentiments’s Len-len series.
Then, President Gibbs came and asked his adviser what he was watching. Manik Manaog said that it was the video they told “Daryl” to make and it was about “Len-len”.
The President asked Congressman Manik why the contents are about his opponents and not about his accomplishments. “May accomplishment ka ba? Ay, wala naman eh,” the character of Leo Martinez asked.
Then, the character of Janno Gibbs enumerated his shows in which he was terminated and the achievements of his “tatay”. After realizing that he has no achievements, President Gibbs asked about the debates.
His adviser said that if he will join debates, people will notice his intellectual capacity. However, President Gibbs enumerated his educational attainment. On the other hand, Congressman Manaog said that they know the school records are fake.
As of this writing, the said political satire video of Janno Gibbs and Leo Martinez has reached more than 11 thousand views, 3 thousand likes, and over 300 comments.
