Carla Abellana reacted to her father’s recent interview
Seasoned actor Rey PJ Abellana shared the reaction of his daughter Kapuso actress Carla Abellana after his controversial statement against his son-in-law actor Tom Rodriguez.
The showbiz world was a bit shocked when Rey PJ said that he did not consider that there was a third-party issue between Carla and Tom but the seasoned actor revealed that his son-in-law had a one-night stand with an unnamed woman.
However, that statement of Rey PJ was followed by clarification. In a recent interview on the Kapuso primetime news program 24 Oras, he said that there was no actual one-night stand that happened. It was just being issued against his son-in-law and Tom has already clarified this thing to Carla.
Rey PJ also shared that his daughter got mad after that statement that he made on the talk show of veteran showbiz reporter Cristy Fermin with Romel Chika. “She was mad, she was questioning me why I came up that way. Of course, I explained it to her right away, and after my explanation, explaining my side, hindi na naman siya nag-message na uli,” the seasoned actor said.
The father of Carla also shared that Tom has been doing efforts to fix the marital problem that they are going through right now. Rey PJ said that his son-in-law wants his wife back and he trying to patch things up between them.
“He wants Carla back because she loves Carla very much that’s why they settled down,” Rey PJ said. The seasoned actor also wants Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez to go back to their previous state before the problem occurred. As a father, Rey PJ also shared his advice to the couple and that was to work things out.
