Ex-Daring Actress Kat de Santos Arrested Again for Illegal Drugs

Police authorities arrested again the ex-daring actress Kat de Santos and two (2) others for illegal drugs in Quezon City.

In the buy-bust operation, the former Baywalk Bodies member was re-arrested. In a firefight in Quezon City, two more people were injured in a shootout between four more suspects and the police who were chasing them.

Victor Ronquillo, 54, of Don Manuel St., Brgy. Salvacion, La Loma, Q.C., was also detained. Ferdinand Parado, 52, and Lisa De Dios Cuenco, both of White Plains, QC, were hurt in the incident.

After taking part in the coup in 1989, Samson Jr. was discharged from the military with the rank of 2nd Lt. The operation was initiated, according to the report, by operatives from the QCPD’s District Drugs Enforcement Unit (DDEU), commanded by PLt. PMaj lead Elmerson Maceda. Wennie Ann A Cale, in the village of Salvacion, La Loma.

When the suspects realized the cops were involved in their deal, they allegedly pulled over their car and fired the following officers, who were also firing bullets in retaliation. The operation resulted in a ‘hot pursuit’ near Sta Cruz Manila, during which two of the ex-daring actress’s accomplices were shot and surrendered to the police.

A Cal. 45 Colt and a Toyota Fortuner were among the items seized from the suspects, along with 20 grams of shabu for P136,000, nine plastic sachets, and a knotted clear plastic bag holding 100 grams of shabu with a street value of P680,000. The suspects are accused of breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, or RA9165.

After being treated for their gunshot wounds at the Chinese General Hospital, Parado and Cuenco are doing well. On May 5, 2018, QCPD troops apprehended a former member of Baywalk Bodies in another narcotics operation of the La Loma Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit in Barangay San Jose, Q.C.
