Ping Lacson Reveals Leni Robredo Campaign Rallies Joined by Communists
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson insisted that the campaign rallies of presidential contender VP Leni Robredo are joined by communists.
The presidential contender stated during a news conference that communists were present at Robredo’s campaign event in Cavite last week. Lacson stated this was based on an intelligence report he received, which was validated by Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz, a self-proclaimed former member of the communist party.

Senator Leni Robredo also stated that he is confirming claims that members of communist front organizations like Kadamay were present during Robredo’s missions in Bulacan and Iloilo. He emphasized, however, that the objective is not to red tag.
“Hindi lang sa Cavite na-infiltrate. Possible din na, bina-validate din ito, sa ibang lugar: Iloilo, Cavite, and Bulacan. Kasi worrisome talaga ito. Kasi ang intention naman is not to red tag,” Lacson said.
However, the leader of the Partido Reporma claimed he wasn’t sure if Robredo was aware of this. He asserted that if Robredo is aware of their involvement, then there is an alliance in the works and that the CPP NPA would strengthen once again.
“Kung alam, mas masama ‘yun doon sa hindi alam. Kung hindi alam, that’s bad enough. Pero kung alam mo, conscious ka na may alliance na nangyayari. Anong mangyayari in case they win the election? Coalition ‘yan. Baka lumakas na naman ang CPP NPA,” Lacson stressed.
Senatorial candidate Antonio ‘Sonny’ Trillanes IV, a Robredo loyalist, disputed Lacson’s charges and asserted that his intelligence was incorrect. He even referred to Ka Eric as a liar. Trillanes refuted the charge, claiming that he is a member of the campaign team and has not seen any communists.
“Sir, your intel sources are wrong, and that Ka Eric you cited is a fraud. I am inside the campaign team of VP Leni at wala akong nakikitang komunista doon. Her military advisers could attest to this too,” the former senator defended.
