The suspects dug a tunnel into the bank manager’s office towards the rear of the ATM. Mr. James Sioson, account officer of Producers Bank, reported the robbery event to the Cordon Police Station.

When they opened the bank, they smelled an intense stench, according to security officer Pedro De Vera. They noticed a hole and dispersed equipment inside the bank after inspecting it.

Inside the manager’s office, they uncovered a big hole and realized the ATM had been emptied. The suspects entered the bank about 3:00 a.m., according to the CCTV camera.

The suspects cut a hole in a home into a drainage canal, which they passed through while excavating a tunnel towards the rear of the ATM, according to the police investigation. Police identified the owner of the home located 800 meters from the bank, which served as the suspects’ access point when they entered the drainage.

The authorities did not discover anyone in Juan Aliguyon’s house throughout the investigation, but they did collect the equipment believed to have been used in the excavation. A cutting disc, a blue ballcap, two metal hacksaws, a steel pipe, and two square logs were discovered in the vicinity, which will be utilized as evidence against the bank thieves.
