Meet Fuschia Anne Ravena, the First Miss International Queen Philippines

The first Miss International Queen Philippines is Fuschia Anne Ravena from Cebu City.

FUSCHIA ANNE RAVENA – The first crowned Miss International Queen Philippines is Fuschia Anne Ravena and here are some things about her.

The Miss International Queen is an international pageant, dubbed as the most prestigious, exclusively for transgender women. It was launched in 2004 held annually in Pattaya City, Thailand. the pageant’s aim is to create awareness and equality for the LGBTQ and transgender people.

The reigning queen is Valentina Fluchaire from Mexico and she was crowned last March 2020. In the same venue, she will be passing the crown and title to the new winner this June 25. And in the Philippines, many transgender women have already brought pride to the country by snatching prestigious titles in transgender competitions like Kevin Balot and Trixie Maristela.

And just recently, the country held its first search to bear the Philippines in this particular international pageatry. Miss International Queens Philippines was held last March 6 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City and the very first one to be crowned was Fuschia Anne Ravena from Cebu City. Among the 26 candidates, she was the one who stood out.

Ravena also previously joined Super Sireyna in 2018 where she bagged the Queen of Garnet and the Super Costume awards. The other winners tailing her in the recently held pageant are:

  • 1st Runner-Up – Anne Patricia Lorenzo Diaz of Manila
  • 2nd Runner-Up – Shane Lee Ahn of Inayawan, Cebu City

After winning, she went to Instagram to express her feelings and gratitude to all the people who are involved and played great roles in her journey. The past few weeks were difficult for her and only a few people know about this.

She struggled to keep her focus and despite the personal struggles she’s been going through, she was able to put up a good fight and smile. And eventually, she came home with the crown and title.

Ravena expressed, “It was a challenge to keep my focus but still, the show must go on and I have to put up a smile, stay strong and have faith in my creator.”
