Police Authorities to Present Witness Who Witnessed Actual Abduction of Missing Sabungeros at Senate Hearing

The police authorities will present a witness who reportedly witnessed the actual abduction of missing sabungeros.

On Thursday (March 3, 2022), the police authorities will present a witness at a Senate Hearing. The latter reportedly witnessed the actual abduction of sabungeros in Manila Arena. The cops will also search for the missing van rental driver.

According to an informant from Special Investigation Task Group of Philippine National Police, the witness is a cock handler. The witness will be presented at the Senate hearing to give a statement regarding the incident.

Missing Sabungeros

According to the reports, the witness is a regular player at Manila Arena in Sta. Ana, Manila. The witness also claims that he personally knew the missing individuals. He has seen the vehicle used by the assailants.

Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs chairman Senador Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa reiterated that the security guards at the cockpit area should face the authorities.

Meanwhile, Nilda Calvo went to PNP-CIDG to seek help to find her missing husband named Carlos Alfonso Calvo. Carlos is the van rental driver who went missing together with the sabungeros.

Missing Sabungeros

The van rental driver went to Batangas and Laguna last November 8, 2021 but he neven returned home. Nilda tried to contact him but she failed to do so. The van has been found in Sto Tomas, Batangas.

The authorities will investigate the case to find out if the driver’s case is connected to the missing sabungeros.

Senador Ping Lacson claimed that he received a report that some police officers are involved on the incident. Currently, over 30 sabungeros are missing and the authorities assume that “Game Fixing” is the main reason.
