Former Miss Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna Really Fighting Russian forces?
FORMER MISS UKRAINE – Did former Miss Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna actually joined Ukraine’s army to defend her country against Russia?
Anastasiia Lenna represented Ukraine in the Miss Grand International beauty contest in 2015. She began modeling at the age of 13 and graduated from Slavistik University in Kyiv.
The beauty queen speaks 5 languages, worked as a translator, and a marketing and PR manager. She has 245k Instagram followers and has utilized her platform to raise awareness about the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.
A week ago, Anastassia Lenna posted a picture of herself donning a military uniform and holding an airsoft gun. She also shared a video of herself on her IG story carrying an assault rifle. Her posts led netizens to believe that she enrolled in the army.
In a post on her Instagram account last March 1, she clarified that she had not really joined the army. She also said that her earlier photo was only meant to inspire.

Anastassia Lenna said that she is “just a normal human” and an “airsoft player.” She said her photos are just meant to inspire the people and to show that the women in Ukraine are strong, confident, and powerful. She also called on her followers for action and to help stop the Russian aggression.
“I AM NOT A MILITARY, JUST A HUMAN. Due current situation I want to talk! I am not a military, just a woman, just normal human. Just a person, like all people of my country. I am also a airsoft player for years.”
“I speak to all people of the World! Stop war in Ukraine! No people should die!” she added.
