Pinoy Big Brother former celebrity housemates Elisse Joson and McCoy De Leon are now parents, loud and proud, to Baby Felize. They made the announcement in the reality show, the main reason why they met and the very house that also witnessed the first bloom of their love story.
It wasn’t initially easy for them to be together. They’ve had to make sacrifices and set aside the love at first and after everything, it brought them to where they are now – a little happy family of three. Elisse gave birth abroad and the whole journey of pregnancy is a secret they’ve kept all to themselves until last year, just two months before it ended when they have finally decided to share it with the public.
Both are vocal about how their lives changed when Felize came. And in by being a mother, Elisse admitted that she has found fulfillment. She feels nothing but great feelings about having her baby in her life, her baby who looks up to her and who has nothing but pure love for her.
They are very hands-on when it comes to taking care of their baby. And now that their secret is out, she found freedom. After giving birth and getting back into shape, she finally returned to acting and the first project she did after her hiatus due to pregnancy is the iWantTFC Original series The Goodbye Girl.
She’s juggling motherhood and her career and she’s still trying to find the balance between these two major components of her life. How did motherhood affect her as an actress? Elisse shared that one of the impacts it made in her career is discovering a broader range of what she can do and maximize her potential.
“Kasi before I felt so limited. Ngayon parang mas naging matapang na ako siguro in terms of that. But siyempre, depende na pa rin. There are going to be limitations for that. But now I don’t feel boxed. So mas gusto ko pang madaming iba-ibang character na gawin,” she said based on a report from PUSH.
