3 Individuals Suffer Injuries After Illegal Drag Race Gone Wrong
Three individuals got injured after an unexpected accident happened during an illegal drag race accident in Cagayan.
Road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.
The authorities also prohibit illegal drag race in public roads, which can result to accident and other unfortunate incident.
The illegal drag racing in Baggao, Cagayan turned into a tragic accident. The video footage of illegal drag race involving two vehicles immediately spread like a wildfire online after it was posted on social media.
One of the participants lost control to the vehicle and accidentally hits several individuals watching the event. The vehicle also hit a truck parked along the area. Drag racing is strictly in the area.
The police authorities reported that they had no idea regarding the event and no one informed them regarding the incident. The authorities were asking statement from the chief of Baggao and traffic management group.
The three victims have been rushed to the hospital and currently recuperating after suffering wounds and injuries. The victims were also planning to file charges against the driver.
