He even claimed that his family is still profiting from the funds they received from the government. According to the actor, the Marcoses are changing history with the money they received from the country.

“They’re (Marcoses) still using the money of the Filipino people even after 50 years just to make history in their favor,” said Enchong who is now facing a 1-B cyberlibel case.

Dee, on the other hand, is pleased that many people are aware of the former President’s actions. It’s unclear why Enchong’s comments became viral once more. Enchong’s speech against the Marcoses is currently being shared by netizens in a picture published by #HottiesAgainstCorruption.

Some netizens did not hold back in condemning Enchong’s remark, and others were reminded of his pending prosecution. Enchong’s tweet, which was visible on his page yesterday, has been removed thus far.

Last year, it was reported that the congresswoman decided to file a complaint against the actor, despite the fact that the latter had previously apologized publicly for his Twitter post criticizing the former’s “opulent” wedding. The authorities considered Enchong’s tweet harmful since he accused Bautista-Lim of spending the cash for wedding drivers.

With this, the party-list representative is requesting the court to force the actor to pay P1 billion in damages (P500,000,000 in moral damages and P500,000,000 in exemplary damages) after news circulated that the court had already issued an arrest warrant for Enchong Dee.

The actor was said to have surrendered to the authorities on the afternoon of January 31. He was not imprisoned, however, since he had secured bail on Monday night.
