However, in a recent post on his official Twitter account, the Senator said that he and Sotto will join the SMNI presidential debate. The fact that network’s leader Apollo Quiboloy who is also the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) has already endorsed their opponents in the 2022 elections.

With all due respect and giving regard to common sense, SP Tito Sotto and I are skipping the SMNI debates. The network’s chairman, Pastor Quiboloy has already openly endorsed his preferred presidential and vice-presidential candidates,” Senator Ping Lacson said.

Meanwhile, in one of his tweets prior to this, the Senator talked about the recently released presidential survey. He came last among the five prominent names in the presidential race.

He shared his message to his supporters regarding this. “To our BRAVE supporters: if you don’t see in the surveys the support that you feel on the ground, don’t get disheartened. Our fight to enlighten a benighted land shall continue in ways that are determined, decent, serious and honest. We will never give up for our country’s sake,” the presidential aspirant said.

He also talked about the essence of “unity” in his recent Twitter posts. He said that unity can be accomplished when a leader is leading by example. The lawmaker pointed out that this was already proven in various areas in the lives of people.

“A leader who practices what he preaches is the best unifying factor because he inspires and motivates his people. Shared integrity does not divide. It unifies,” Sen. Ping Lacson added.
