Here’s what Angelica Panganiban said to people who did not like her election videos.

ANGELICA PANGANIBAN – This is what Angelica Panganiban said to basher who called her “starlet” following her videos for election.

In a previous article, multi-awarded actress and comedienne Angelica Panganiban made a loud buzz online for her on-point views and tips for voters regarding this coming election. The “Hugot Queen” said in her first election advocacy the people do not deserve to be fooled, hurt, and robbed.

And in a follow-up video, she lambasted the “scammers”. An iconic line of her narrative said, “Pag may history ng pambubudol never again, never forget tayo. Iwasan natin ‘yung mga nangangako ng gold, mambubudol ‘yan…’wag na tayo magpauto at por Diyos, por santo ‘wag na tayong bomoto ng magnanakaw!”

She was lauded for using her influence and fame to promote a clean election and encourage people to choose wisely. The videos where she starred as herself is a collaboration with a non-profit youth group for good governance called Young Public Servants.

And just recently, she reiterated the importance of social responsibility amid the applaud. However, with the reality that one cannot please everyone, there are some people who are not happy about her video because they feel like she’s attacking someone. But in the video, Angelica was talking about general truths and never mentioned nor pertained her statements to a specific person.

One basher even called her “starlet” and she has this comeback: “Pero affected ka sa ingay nang isang starlet? Salamat kung ganoin.”

On the other hand, Panganiban as an actress did top-rating shows Rubi (2010), Apoy sa Dagat (2013), Pangako Sa ‘Yo (2015), and Playhouse (2018). She also starred in successful films like A Love Story (2007), Here Comes The Bride (2010), One More Try (2012), That Thing Called Tadhana (2015), The Unmarried Wife (2016), Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes (2018), Exes Baggage (2018), and Unbreakable (2019).
