Rumor has it that actress-host Toni Gonzaga will be like the “Charo Santos” of the TV network of billionaire businessman Manny Villar.
The Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. of Villar now owns the frequency previously occupied by ABS-CBN. After Toni’s resignation from her hosting stint in the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, it was rumored that she will transfer to AMBS.

On the other hand, based on the article by entertainment columnist Rose Garcia in Abante, it was rumored that even before the proclamation rally, Toni Gonzaga allegedly has ironed out her plan to transfer.
According to rumors, Toni will handle a big duty in the TV network of Villar. “Kumbaga, ang huli ang may upper hand sa kung anong show ang gagawin niya,” the columnist said. With this, it was speculated that she will be like “Charo Santos” in AMBS.
Charo has been handling the programs and contents for the Kapamilya network. She is the Chief Content Officer of ABS-CBN Corporation. The source of the columnist said that it is possible that Toni will be one of the executives of AMBS channel.

Garcia’s source added that those people who are bashing Toni Gonzaga will just be “nganga” because she already has assurance when it comes to her career.
As of this writing, Manny Villar and his company haven’t released yet an official statement regarding his recently acquired frequency.
