Patrocinio F. Villafuerte or more popularly known as Pat Villafuerte is a teacher and a writer in Filipino. He was born on May 7, 1948, at San Isidro, Nueva Ecija. He has a bachelor’s degree in education and has a certificate in Filipino Linguistics. He finished his Master of Arts in Filipino Literature at Philippine Normal College.

Villafuerte received “Masterado sa Sining sa Filipino” and “Gawad Merito” from Manuel Luis Quezon University. He is the currently OIC of the Filipino Department of Philippine Normal University with a rank of Full Professor. He teaches Filipino subjects in elementary, high school, and college and has published numerous textbooks in Filipino.
